Georgina in Misty Sky pairs a full, sweeping maxi shape with a softly smocked waist and an airy ruffled hem. Deep grey handwork gives definition to the cool blue-grey and teal print, while the organic cotton keeps the movement soft and fluid.
The Misty Sky print is screen printed by hand on organic cotton, creating slight shifts in tone from piece to piece. Along the lower skirt, deep grey blanket stitch is sewn by hand, one stitch at a time, before the hem is finished with a fine picot edge in the same thread. The contrast is subtle, but it gives the movement of the skirt a beautifully defined finish.
